GET TO KNOW ME

I describe myself as an extremely passionate, hard-working, and energetic team player. I spend almost all of my time with kids, working as a nanny and volunteering in various classrooms. Teaching has always been my dream and goal, and I am very fortunate to be an alumni of the Education program at the University of Calgary, where my love for teaching grew and was fostered in a rich and challenging setting. I was born in Victoria and moved to Canmore when I was almost three. In the third grade, we moved yet again to Calgary, where I've been learning and growing ever since.

My first degree was in English, and I loved being able to engage in literature and texts that engaged and surprised me. I take my love of reading and writing with me in my hope to foster a love of reading and writing in my students.

Below are some of my interests and hobbies for when I'm not in the classroom! Feel free to peruse the tabs on this website to explore my qualifications and experience. I look forward to connecting with you!

READING

As a lifelong book lover, reading is one of my favourite things to do. Completing an English degree in my undergraduate program was the perfect way to combine my love of reading with my love of learning.
