The walls in the classroom will be mostly bare as we are expecting to fill the space with the work of the children as they produce it. As stated by Tarr (2004), “the environment should be attractive, colorful, and have children’s work and other pictures displayed at children’s eye level” (p. 88). In terms of colour, since we have planned to do a unit on colour, the students work can be displayed while also creating an environment that is colourful and attractive to the students.
